MHSA 2020 End of Year Summary

Written By Nishtha Tikalal | December 31, 2020

2020 is finally coming to an end. MHSA started in the summer, and it’s going pretty well so far. In the beginning, we had articles about various topics of mentality health. A ton of people looked at them. But soon, each article posted had less views and less like and all that. But like any other project, you meet obstacles and overcome them in order to meet the demands of your goals and supporters. One of our major achievements this year was initiating the project itself. We faced a couple of issues with our website, but eventually got it up and running. The social media we created was surprisingly a big hit. Although it seems we have a small amount of followers, it was still huge for us to know that a bunch of people who we don’t even know appreciates the work we are trying to do as a beginning project. This transitions perfectly into the goals and plans of 2021. Our goals for 2021 start off with donations. Although a small amount, our goal is to raise $150.00 by the end of the year. Most recently, we set up a donation page with NAMI and got very close to our goal. We also want to promote ourselves better through a variety of platforms, so we are more familiarly recognised. We plan to write more, but are still deciding what people’s interests are regarding the subject. Lastly, we want to recruit new members. There are only two candidates, from Florida and New Jersey. We are looking for those who share similar interests and are willing to dedicate themselves to this project.
